Packaging protection and wet pack prevention

Wet packs are often discovered after running steam sterilization. In this case, the load should be reprocessed, as it is considered contaminated.

To prevent and minimize the risk of wet packs, Sterimed recommends positioning tray liners inside the tray. Tray Liners can also be used to protect wrapping materials from tears and punctures. In this case, tray liners should be positioned between a procedure tray and wrapping material.
