BOP

A Sterile Barrier System for hospital packaging of individual reusable instruments, and lightweight trays.

The product has been developed in collaboration with hospital users to answer their needs, to make their daily work more efficient, and put the safety of patients first.

 With its high and proven microbial barrier properties, BOP sterilization packaging protects medical instruments against micro-organisms and maintains sterility after sterilization.

The BOP® sterilization pouches are made with high-quality materials and are designed to withstand strenuous conditions during sterilization and handling.

BOP® pouches are manufactured using Polybond® 60gsm medical paper developed by STERIMED. 

It ensures high puncture, tear, and break resistance before and after sterilization. 

BOP® is available with single (SI), double (DI) or triple (TI) indicator. 

Chemical indicators are applied on the paper – for steam, ethylene oxide, and formaldehyde* 

BOP® pouches and reels are compliant with EN 868-5, ISO 11607-1 & 2, and ISO 11140-1. 

BOP® is produced by SPS MEDICAL, a member of the STERIMED Group operating with the largest pouch converting capacity in Europe.
